After a little over 4 years of dominating the local metal scene, Lachrymator is hanging up their axes. Thanks to everyone for their continued support and interest over the years, we will miss you.

The Lachrymator, Melt Banana, Wadsworth, & Bozart show on the 19th of this month went surprisingly well. That is to day, on estimate is took about 7 minutes to walk from the stage to outside. Noteworthy moments: Lachrymator's Kip Larson and Aaron Beam joined Bozart for a song, Wadsworth sings!, Lachrymator sold 1 CD, and the Melt Banana hordes who paid the 8 dollar ticket price got a hell of a good deal. Check out the Lachryarchive to see the flyer put together for that show.

Lachrymator sets up the mics again in their rehearsal space in  North Portland. The goal: 3 songs recorded  that we will not allow anyone to hear. That's right folks, that means, you. We have no intention whatsoever of letting you ever hear these songs. We will be recording "Blood-Encrusted Dying Corpses" (c1999), "Sacrificial Pouch" (c2000), and our new  piece, "Sexual Fucking".

The much anticipated Totimoshi (Oakland) and Lachrymator show goes off with few  hitches at Ash St. Saloon in Portland. The groves of  Lachrygroupies were thoroughly rocked by both bands, and got a kick out of CA metal heads Brick Bath. We made $20.00 and gave it to Brick Bath because they are sponsored by Line 6.

June - July 2002

We pretty much haven't really done anything except for the regular Tues - Thurs Lachryhearsals. We have been working on the website and talking about stuff. Derek got married. Aaron joined a gym and Kip made a new Lachrylude entitled "Oh Yeah". Our new Lachryhearsal facility is quite nice corner windows overlooking industrial and downtown Portland, OR. We wrote a new song and have decided to call it "Sexual Fucking".
